Old Havana Architecture

The legend of Habanos
On his second landing in Cuba, Christopher Columbus saw a group of ¨Indians¨ who smoked roughly rolled tobacco leaves which they called Cohibas. Today, these leaves continue to delight the palate of those who taste them. Our Habanos have been recognized as the best cigars in the world.

Classic Cars
A great variety of old cars exists in Cuba. Havana of E. Hemingway
"Mi mojito en la Bodeguita, mi daiquiri en el Floridita".
The famous American writer Ernest Hemingway, Literature Nobel Prize, stayed at the hotel Ambos Mundos at the beginning of the 1930´s. He wrote there the first chapters of his novel ¨For whom the bells toll¨ and left his indelible trace in the room (today a museum) that he himself chose. The Cojímar fishing area was also a perfect place as an inspiration source for the wonderful work ¨The Old Man and the Sea¨. You can also enjoy the cooling taste in warm Havana of the two famous cocktails Papa was so fond of, in his two favorite bars!

Just at 9pm..boom
Fortress San Carlos de la Cabaña, the biggest in Latin America, gets a costume every night at 9:00 pm, to follow an old tradition, and everyone in the city would know!
