John Stinson

John Stinson is a policy and program development professional with over 20 years of experience in the design, implementation, management and evaluation of health and social programs. Educated at the University of Manitoba , the University of Winnipeg and the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology John believes his real education comes from over 20 years of working with community-based organizations, within the federal and provincial public service, and through various volunteer activities in the areas of health reform, HIV/AIDS, human rights, poverty, project management, and social justice. John prides himself on being a change management champion that focuses on finding practical solutions to socially and politically sensitive challenges.

Most recently John was the Assistant Deputy Minister of the Corporate and Provincial Program Support Division at Manitoba Health where his areas of responsibility included Provincial Drug Programs, the Health Capital portfolio, Manitoba eHealth and Information Technology Services, Provincial Emergency Medical Services, and corporate programs such as French language services, the Protection for Persons in Care Office, the Manitoba Health Appeal Board and the Manitoba Mental Health Review Board. Prior to this most recent position John worked as the Director of Health Reform in the Provincial Treasury Board Secretariat and as the Executive Director of Nine Circles Community Health Centre.

John grew up in Winnipeg and calls the river city his hometown but he has also lived in rural British Columbia , Ottawa , and Saskatoon . Currently John lives in St. Norbert with his partner Lisa, his daughter Hannah, and their dog Harvey.

As President of the Jorgenson Group of Companies, Rupinder has developed and manages successful working relations with numerous business associates throughout North America and around the world. Committed to a results oriented approach, he presents and briefs directly to Daren Jorgenson on the organizations global initiatives, various financial, operational, administrative and legal aspects relating to pharmaceutical distribution and global pricing, coordinates all outsourcing efforts and provides unique solutions that result in cost containment. Rupinder provides insight on all business ventures in general and works closely with all members of the Jorgenson Group to get things done.

Rupinder is a member of the Canadian International Pharmacy Association, the Canadian Society of Telehealth, the Winnipeg Chamber of Commerce, the Manitoba Chamber of Commerce, the Indo Canada Chamber of Commerce, the Canada-India Business Council and is actively involved in several non-profit organizations including Junior Achievement, Sport Manitoba and Foster Parents Plan. Rupinder is also a board member with the Indo Canada Chamber of Commerce, Winnipeg as well as Project Positive, a non-profit organization committed to raising funds to increase HIV/AIDS awareness.

Elizabeth Nieves

Elizabeth Nieves

Elizabeth Nieves Marguez is the most recent addition to The Jorgenson Group's team of professionals. Originally from her native country Cuba, Elizabeth graduated from the University of Havana with a degree in English and Literature.

Her career path led her from teaching at the University to translating and interpreting for foreign business concerns. In recent years as Cuba refocused on tourism, Elizabeth turned her attentions to the hospitality industry where she served with Gaviota S.A. one of Cuba's most prestigious tour companies. Her duties included, training in all aspects of tour operations.

Elizabeth then joined a major hotel chain where she was responsible for public relations. Here she honed her people skills and in doing so developed a vast network of contacts and friends from all over the world. Her last posting in Cuba was for the office of the Historian of Havana where she acted as a guide for specialized tours. Soon after immigrating to Canada, Elizabeth worked for a major telecommunications company and quickly rose to the position of staff trainer.

Elizabeth joined the Jorgenson Group in early 2007 and as Executive Assistant to C.E.O. of Choice® Medical Services, Bill Doran will be responsible to further develop strategies for projects in Cuba as well as other Latin American countries. Elizabeth is married and lives with her husband Victor in Toronto Canada.
