We understand that requiring any surgical or medical procedure can be stressful at the best of times, let alone having to travel to a foreign land to have it done. Our goal at Choice Medical Services is to provide you with the safest and most comfortable experience possible.
From the time you contact us through the web site, or by our toll-free number (1-866-672-8284), our call center professionals will request some basic contact information. You will receive a case file number and the name of a Personal Patient Consultant (PPC) who will contact you at your convenience. Your PPC will be your personal contact and guide through the journey you are about to take and will be with you every step of the way.
Your PPC will:
Contact you at the time and number that you specify to review your patient information form and answer any questions you have. (please allow 30-45 minutes for this call).
Discuss where and how to send your medical file to our offices.
Your file will then be forwarded on to the team of physicians in Cuba who will review, confirm the diagnosis, set a course of treatment, and provide a time frame for the procedure.
The information will then sent to a Canadian Physician for 2nd consultation.
Your PPC will review the information with you.
Your PPC will also be responsible to arrange travel, pre and post operative accommodation, any special requirements during your stay for you and any of your family.
When your plans have been confirmed a detailed patient program will be sent to our PPC in Cuba, who will be responsible to:
Greet you and your family at the airport and take you to the pre-operative accommodation.
Provide you with a cell phone containing pre-programmed numbers to keep in touch with you and your family.
Provide transportation the day of your procedure.
Coordinate and arrange tour packages for recuperating patients and family.
Provide transportation to the airport for your return home.
Choice Medical Services will look after all the details of your journey leaving you to concentrate on recuperating and getting on with life.
